Quebec's winters put more into a closet than any other market we serve — parkas, boots, layers, and gear that comes home wet and salted. The dressing room has to hold two full wardrobes, one in use and one stored, and it has to handle damp without going musty. Older buildings have out-of-square rooms, sloped floors and services in awkward places. Everything is templated on site.
The Montreal triplex is a specific delivery problem: an exterior staircase, a tight interior turn at the top, and often no lift. Cabinetry for those units is sized to be carried up that stair, and where a piece cannot be, it is built to assemble in the room.

A closet is a storage problem with a fixed inventory: a specific number of long-hanging pieces, short-hanging pieces, folded items, shoes and bags. Designed against that inventory it works for years. Designed as an even grid of rails and shelves it is full within a season, which is why the first conversation is a count rather than a drawing.
We start from what actually has to go in — long, short, folded, shoes, bags — rather than filling the room with equal shelves.
Lighting sits in the shelving and behind the hanging rails, so what you are looking at is lit rather than shadowed by your own body.
Soft-close throughout, drawers rather than doors at low level, and hardware rated for the number of cycles a dressing room actually sees.
