Bathroom Vanities designed, built and installed for Pompano Beach — mid-century houses being reworked and a beachfront being rebuilt, often on the same street. Our Fort Lauderdale showroom is roughly twenty minutes south on Federal Highway.
Broward bathrooms are humid whether or not anyone has run the shower, and east of the Intracoastal there is salt in the air on top of it. A vanity here is built for permanent moisture rather than occasional steam — stable cores, sealed edges, a finish specified for a wet room and hardware chosen for the environment. Wall-hung construction helps twice: it keeps a small room reading larger and it leaves the plumbing reachable.
East of the Intracoastal the salt exposure is as high as anywhere on this coast. Outdoor cabinetry here is aluminium, not stainless.
Pompano has more original mid-century housing stock still standing than its neighbours, and those houses have low ceilings and short wall runs. Cabinetry is usually the thing that has to solve the storage the original plan never had.
The beachfront redevelopment means a lot of the work is in new construction where the kitchen is being specified before the drywall. That is the cheapest moment to move a wall or a service, and the moment worth booking a designer for.
What follows applies to every bathroom vanitie we make, in Pompano Beach and everywhere else.
A vanity is the piece of cabinetry that takes the most abuse in a house — standing water, steam, heat from styling tools and daily opening — in the smallest space. It has to be built for that and still look like furniture, which is a materials decision as much as a design one.
Floating the vanity keeps the floor continuous and makes a small bathroom read larger, and it puts the plumbing where it can be reached.
Drawers are notched around the trap so the space under the basin is usable rather than nominally there.
Moisture-stable cores, sealed edges and a finish specified for steam rather than for a dry room.

We work throughout Pompano Beach, including Hillsboro Shores, Cypress Harbor, Palm Aire, Old Pompano and the beachfront corridor. The housing here is a fast-changing mix — 1950s and 60s single-storey houses being gutted and extended, canal properties east of Federal, and a run of new beachfront towers, and the cabinetry is specified for it rather than to a national standard.
Our Fort Lauderdale showroom is roughly twenty minutes south on Federal Highway. The showroom is at 617 East Sunrise Blvd. The samples are worth handling before you choose — or send the drawings and we will price it first.
Every project is photographed room by room with the materials and the detailing listed, so you can see how a job like this is actually put together before you commit to one.

One shop draws, finishes and installs all of it, which is why the closet matches the kitchen and there is one number to call when something needs adjusting.
