Custom Kitchens designed, built and installed for Pompano Beach — mid-century houses being reworked and a beachfront being rebuilt, often on the same street. Our Fort Lauderdale showroom is roughly twenty minutes south on Federal Highway.
Broward kitchens sit in the densest and most varied housing stock in the state — a 1950s ranch, a 1980s planned-community house and a new beachfront tower can be within a mile of each other, and they need three different kitchens. What they share is the climate: humidity all year and, east of the Intracoastal, salt air. Moisture-stable cores are the baseline here rather than an upgrade. The other constant is that the kitchen almost always opens to the living space and out to a pool deck, so it is read as furniture from three directions.
Pompano has more original mid-century housing stock still standing than its neighbours, and those houses have low ceilings and short wall runs. Cabinetry is usually the thing that has to solve the storage the original plan never had.
The beachfront redevelopment means a lot of the work is in new construction where the kitchen is being specified before the drywall. That is the cheapest moment to move a wall or a service, and the moment worth booking a designer for.
East of the Intracoastal the salt exposure is as high as anywhere on this coast. Outdoor cabinetry here is aluminium, not stainless.
What follows applies to every custom kitchen we make, in Pompano Beach and everywhere else.
A custom kitchen is not a better-made version of a stock one — it is a different process. The plan is drawn around how the room is actually used and what appliances are going in it, and the cabinetry is then made to that drawing. Nothing is sized to a catalogue module, which is why a custom kitchen fits a room that stock cabinetry can only approximate.
Cabinet widths follow the plan. There are no filler panels covering the difference between a catalogue size and the wall.
The grain match approved on a sample is the grain match delivered, because the same shop sprays every panel in the run.
Every cutout, clearance and ventilation run comes from the appliance list, so we ask for it at the first meeting rather than at the end.

We work throughout Pompano Beach, including Hillsboro Shores, Cypress Harbor, Palm Aire, Old Pompano and the beachfront corridor. The housing here is a fast-changing mix — 1950s and 60s single-storey houses being gutted and extended, canal properties east of Federal, and a run of new beachfront towers, and the cabinetry is specified for it rather than to a national standard.
Our Fort Lauderdale showroom is roughly twenty minutes south on Federal Highway. The showroom is at 617 East Sunrise Blvd. The samples are worth handling before you choose — or send the drawings and we will price it first.
Every project is photographed room by room with the materials and the detailing listed, so you can see how a job like this is actually put together before you commit to one.

You can also search every finish we specify and every appliance we design around.
One shop draws, finishes and installs all of it, which is why the closet matches the kitchen and there is one number to call when something needs adjusting.
