• The widest sheet we can get. Prélude runs up to 5' × 12' — which is what decides a long island front or a full-height pantry run without a seam.
• Embossed in register across a whole series. The entire Sommet range — Iconiq®, Viva®, Brava™ — is synchronized, not just a handful of decors.
• A real lacquer program. LUMMIA Perfect Matt at ≤6 gloss units and High Gloss at 90+, with published scratch, heat and adhesion numbers rather than adjectives.
• Made from recovered wood. Tafisa's panels are made from 100% recovered and recycled wood — no logs. Their ReWood process, in development since 2005, pulls 244,000 tons of post-consumer wood a year back out of the demolition stream.
• Manufactured in Quebec. Lac-Mégantic: roughly 700,000 sq ft, two continuous particleboard lines, five TFL presses, 514 million sq ft a year.

Tafisa or Uniboard?

We carry both, and neither is simply better. Tafisa gives us the widest sheet and the deepest lacquer program; Uniboard gives us the larger decor range. For a long island or a tall pantry run, sheet size usually decides it.
