The piano sits in a double-height space lined in walnut, and the panelling was set out around it — panel joints aligned to the instrument rather than to the room, because that is what you see from the stair.
The kitchen is black stone with dark fronts, kept almost invisible so the timber carries the house.
The vanities are floating walnut with integrated drawer pulls, repeating the panel module at a smaller scale.
