Sage-green panelled joinery and a black island over herringbone oak — classical proportions built with contemporary handleless detailing.

The panelling is the point. Sage-green framed doors run the length of the apartment, proportioned to the ceiling height rather than to a standard cabinet module, so the room reads as architecture rather than as fitted furniture.
The island is the opposite — a black monolith with no visible hardware, sitting on herringbone oak. Setting a hard modern object inside a classical envelope only works if the proportions of both are right, so the island length was set against the panel rhythm rather than against the run behind it.
The bedrooms take the same approach in reverse: a printed botanical wall with quiet fitted joinery in front of it, so the pattern is the feature and the storage is not.
