Everything here is either white or black, which sounds simple and is the opposite. With no colour to hide behind, every shadow gap, every reveal and every alignment is on show, so the setting-out had to be exact rather than adequate.
The shelving is blackened steel rather than painted timber — thinner sections, and it holds a line over a long span without a mid support.
The dressing room is glazed rather than doored, so the clothes become part of the room. That only works if the internal joinery is finished to the same standard as the outside, which it is.
