The bedroom wall is clad in dark stone from floor to ceiling with the bedhead recessed into it, so the bed is set into the wall rather than placed against it.
The dressing room runs off it — open hanging both sides, lit shelving, and a bench down the middle. Everything is lit from within the joinery, so there are no ceiling fittings to spoil the ceiling line.
Herringbone parquet runs through both rooms without a threshold, which is what makes the suite read as one space.
