Built-Ins and Wall Units designed, built and installed for Southlake — custom houses where the cabinetry is drawn before the walls are closed. Our Dallas showroom is around forty-five minutes east.
Texas houses have the volume for built-ins that would overwhelm a smaller room — a two-storey library wall, a full bar, a media wall that spans a great room. At that scale the setting-out is the job: shelf spacing, panel widths and reveals have to be drawn to the wall's real dimensions and to a viewing distance of thirty feet, and a long run has to be grain-matched at the sheet rather than at the door.
The houses are big enough that the cabinetry package covers a dozen rooms. Keeping one material and hardware language across all of them is what makes a house of that size read as designed rather than assembled.
Outdoor living is used most of the year here, and covered outdoor kitchens are a normal part of the package rather than an extra.
Southlake is a custom-build market, so we are often working with an architect and a builder rather than with a finished house. That is the best case: the cabinetry gets drawn while the walls and services can still move.
The specification below is the same whether the job is in Southlake or anywhere else we work — it is how we build, not what we build for the market.
Built-in joinery is what makes a room feel finished rather than furnished. A media wall, a library, a bar, a window seat, a home office — each one turns an awkward wall or an unused alcove into something the room needs, and each one has to be set out to the architecture rather than dropped in front of it.
In an older property the profiles are matched to what is already there; in a contemporary one the reveals do the work instead.
Shelf spacing, panel widths and reveals are drawn to the wall's real dimensions and to what is going on the shelves.
Power, data, ventilation and cable routes are designed into the joinery, not chased in afterwards.

We work throughout Southlake, including Carillon, Timarron, Coventry Manor, Clariden Ranch and Southlake Town Square. The housing here is large custom houses on generous lots, most built since the 1990s and specified individually rather than to a builder standard, and the cabinetry is specified for it rather than to a national standard.
Our Dallas showroom is around forty-five minutes east. The showroom is at 17304 Preston Rd, Suite 800. Come and see the materials in person, or send the drawings and we will price the job room by room.
Every project is photographed room by room with the materials and the detailing listed, so you can see how a job like this is actually put together before you commit to one.

One shop draws, finishes and installs all of it, which is why the closet matches the kitchen and there is one number to call when something needs adjusting.
