Start with the texture, not the colour. A dead-matte Supermat® hides the tiny scratches a busy kitchen collects and makes a slab door read as one volume; Dolomite® is the more forgiving everyday surface; the synchronized textures — Brushed Elm, Nobella, Riviera Oak — are the ones people reach out and touch, because the embossing follows the printed grain exactly.
Then think about where it lands. A pronounced relief like Sequoia wants a tall run where light can rake down it; a fine micro-texture like Omnia behaves under any lighting scheme. Grain direction matters on tall doors and reads differently across a bank of drawers — we set that at shop-drawing stage, not on site.
Through the Integra® DST program, 130+ Uniboard decors cross-reference to equivalent edgebanding, vertical-grade HPL, 3D laminate mouldings and thermoplastic membrane from partner suppliers including Olon, Rehau, Surteco, Teknaform and Renolit. Uniboard does not manufacture edgebanding itself — the match is made through Integra, which is why we specify the pairing at design stage rather than discovering it at assembly.
