Basalt as a colour rather than a stone imitation: warm-leaning, mid-depth, with the Metal Deco particles giving it a quiet glint in the depth of the colour instead of a flat pigment. ZENIT drops the sheen to almost nothing, so the whole surface goes tactile. ALVIC photographs it in a bedroom, and that is fair — it does good work on wardrobe fronts, headboard panelling and a run of low drawers under a window.
