A task chair is the only piece of furniture in the building that somebody sits in for eight hours. It is worth more attention than it usually gets, and it is the one item people should sit in before they sign for a hundred of them.
What matters is the range of adjustment and whether it fits the people using it: seat height and depth, back height, lumbar position and firmness, arm height and width, and the tension range of the tilt. Two chairs that photograph identically can be completely different to sit in for a working day.
Mesh backs move air and suit a warm floor plate; upholstered backs read softer and quieter. Which is right depends on the room's temperature and how it is meant to look, and it is a decision worth making deliberately.
Specified to the brief. Task & Operator Chairs is specified per project from our manufacturing partners rather than sold from a fixed range, so the sizes, finishes and options are matched to your plan and the rest of the scheme.
