Walk-In Closets in Frisco

Walk-In Closets designed, built and installed for Frisco — new houses where the job is closing the gap between builder-grade and custom. Our Dallas showroom is around thirty minutes south on the Tollway.

What changes here

Walk-In Closets in Frisco, specifically.

Texas closets are the one room where the size of the house shows most. Primary dressing rooms here are often large enough to be furnished — an island, seating, a dressing table — and the risk is a big room that stores less than a small one because it was laid out as a perimeter of rails. We plan against a real inventory first and then use the extra floor for an island with drawer storage, which is where the folded pieces and the everyday items should live.

New houses in this market are large and open, with double-height great rooms. A kitchen that reads well from twenty feet away needs different proportions from one designed at arm's length, and that is a drawing decision.

Master-planned communities carry architectural guidelines for anything outdoors, and the review step belongs in the schedule.

Almost everything here is new, so the cabinetry conversation is about upgrading a builder specification rather than repairing an old one. The gap between builder-grade and custom is most visible in three places: door construction, drawer boxes and how the run meets the ceiling.

How we build it

What you are actually buying.

The local detail changes from job to job. This part does not.

A closet is a storage problem with a fixed inventory: a specific number of long-hanging pieces, short-hanging pieces, folded items, shoes and bags. Designed against that inventory it works for years. Designed as an even grid of rails and shelves it is full within a season, which is why the first conversation is a count rather than a drawing.

Lit inside the joinery

Lighting sits in the shelving and behind the hanging rails, so what you are looking at is lit rather than shadowed by your own body.

Built to be used daily

Soft-close throughout, drawers rather than doors at low level, and hardware rated for the number of cycles a dressing room actually sees.

Planned against a real inventory

We start from what actually has to go in — long, short, folded, shoes, bags — rather than filling the room with equal shelves.

Where we work

Serving Frisco

We work throughout Frisco, including Starwood, Newman Village, Phillips Creek Ranch, Stonebriar and The Trails. The housing here is new and near-new construction in master-planned communities, most of it under twenty years old, and the cabinetry is specified for it rather than to a national standard.

Our Dallas showroom is around thirty minutes south on the Tollway. The showroom is at 17304 Preston Rd, Suite 800. Visit when it suits, or start by sending the plans and we will come back with a number per room.

Everything else we make in Frisco

The rest of the house.

One shop draws, finishes and installs all of it, which is why the closet matches the kitchen and there is one number to call when something needs adjusting.
