Custom Kitchens designed, built and installed for Oakville — heritage detailing in the old town and whole-house packages on the lake. Our Toronto showroom is around forty minutes east.
Ontario kitchens have to survive an indoor humidity swing that most markets never see — a heated winter can take a house very dry, and summer brings it straight back. Solid timber doors, panels and open shelving are detailed for that movement, because a rigid construction will telegraph it within a year. The housing is the other constant: the older city stock is narrow and out of square, and the newer suburban stock is large and open, so the two need genuinely different approaches to the same room.
Old Oakville has heritage properties with real constraints and real character. Interior cabinetry is generally unrestricted, but the detailing has to earn its place in a house with original trim and proportions worth keeping.
Lakeside houses in Morrison and Eastlake are large and often rebuilt rather than renovated, which means the cabinetry package covers the whole house rather than one room.
Lake-effect humidity through the shoulder seasons is worth accounting for in solid timber and in anything closed and unventilated.
What follows applies to every custom kitchen we make, in Oakville and everywhere else.
A custom kitchen is not a better-made version of a stock one — it is a different process. The plan is drawn around how the room is actually used and what appliances are going in it, and the cabinetry is then made to that drawing. Nothing is sized to a catalogue module, which is why a custom kitchen fits a room that stock cabinetry can only approximate.
Cabinet widths follow the plan. There are no filler panels covering the difference between a catalogue size and the wall.
The grain match approved on a sample is the grain match delivered, because the same shop sprays every panel in the run.
Every cutout, clearance and ventilation run comes from the appliance list, so we ask for it at the first meeting rather than at the end.

We work throughout Oakville, including Old Oakville, Morrison, Eastlake, Bronte and Glen Abbey. The housing here is heritage houses in the old town, large lakeside properties in Morrison and Eastlake, and established family housing inland, and the cabinetry is specified for it rather than to a national standard.
Our Toronto showroom is around forty minutes east. The showroom is at 2967 Dundas Street West. Come and see the materials in person, or send the drawings and we will price the job room by room.
Every project is photographed room by room with the materials and the detailing listed, so you can see how a job like this is actually put together before you commit to one.

You can also search every finish we specify and every appliance we design around.
One shop draws, finishes and installs all of it, which is why the closet matches the kitchen and there is one number to call when something needs adjusting.
