Wall Paneling designed, built and installed for Pacific Palisades — canyon and bluff access deciding what can physically be delivered. Our Los Angeles showroom downtown serves the Palisades; site visits are scheduled as half-days.
California panelling tends toward the quiet end — vertical battens, slatted timber, a shallow fluted profile — used to warm a room rather than to formalise it. It works especially well against the glazing these houses have, giving the eye something with texture opposite a wall of glass. Where the sun reaches it, the finish has to be specified for UV or it will not stay the colour it was approved as.
Fire-zone regulations affect exterior construction in parts of the area, so outdoor cabinetry and structures need their requirements confirmed before specification.
Canyon and bluff lots make access the first question, not the last. Long driveways, tight turns and steep approaches all decide what size a delivered unit can be, and that gets settled before the cabinetry is engineered.
Ocean exposure on the bluffs is real. Salt and marine damp argue for finishes and hardware chosen for the environment, particularly in anything opening to a terrace.
The local detail changes from job to job. This part does not.
Panelling is the quietest thing we make and the one that changes a room most. It gives a wall proportion, hides the joins where a house is not square, and carries doors, storage and lighting inside a single continuous surface — but only if it is set out properly, because a panel grid that misses its openings is worse than a plain wall.
Panel joints are planned to land on door openings, corners and switch positions rather than wherever the module falls.
Jib doors, cupboards and services can disappear into the panelling so the wall reads as one surface.
Three different registers for three different rooms — the choice is made against the architecture, not against a trend.

We work throughout Pacific Palisades, including the Riviera, Huntington Palisades, Castellammare and the Alphabet Streets. The housing here is traditional and Mediterranean houses on canyon and bluff lots, with a steady flow of contemporary rebuilds, and the cabinetry is specified for it rather than to a national standard.
Our Los Angeles showroom downtown serves the Palisades; site visits are scheduled as half-days. The showroom is at 506 S Spring St. Come and see the materials in person, or send the drawings and we will price the job room by room.
Every project is photographed room by room with the materials and the detailing listed, so you can see how a job like this is actually put together before you commit to one.

One shop draws, finishes and installs all of it, which is why the closet matches the kitchen and there is one number to call when something needs adjusting.
